One of my rare early morning photographs. Two kayaks awaiting the day ahead on a beautiful crisp morning. Although I love to follow the light in my photography, I chase the sunset not the sunrise. Being a night owl I rarely make an appearance in the early morning hours. On this particular day, Shane & I were unable to sleep due to our excitement of the trip ahead. We awoke before sunrise. A rare occasion indeed. I enjoyed watching the sun cast a warm glow as it began to rise. Early morning, what a beautiful time, maybe just maybe I will attempt to wake up for this special time of day.
