Bricks by themselves are pretty ordinary, but when you stumble upon an old well on your property made from bricks, they become much more interesting.
I had no idea this old well was on our property. As I was hiking the other day I noticed this hole in the ground near a tree. Upon first glance it did not appear deeper than 6 feet. After further examination we realized it was full of leaves and the well continued down. We are still unsure of its depth. As we walked away I could not help but wonder about this well’s story.
How old is it? Who used it? How long did it take them to make it?
Sometimes when you go for a hike you never know what you may find.
