This is perfect for the New Year. We all have a desire to grow and become the best versions of ourselves, especially at this time of year.

The first image to pop into my brain was a newly emerging plant but I wanted to do something different.

Looking back over the last few years, I can see growth in several areas of my life. With a desire to continue that growth into this year, I have selected the following to represent the collective.

Cooking, photography, venturing into flash, yoga and writing.

As part of my growth I started taking more photos with my cell phone, an area I stayed away from for quite some time.  Quickly learning the best camera is the one you have on you.  The above photo was taken with my new cell phone.  I plan to use it even more than my old one.

In addition, this post was done completely from my phone.  Typically, I post from my computer using my Nikon photos.
