How is it October 1st already? Wow, time flies. I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family the end of August. Yet somehow I lost the month of September. Better late than never on sharing great photos from this fun session.
It was a hot summer day with high humidity. Not the ideal situation for an engagement shoot. However, everyone held up under the heat. Thanks to smart thinking on Greg’s part (dad) on bringing a towel, otherwise my job would have been more difficult during post processing.
We decided on Washington Township Park in Avon, Indiana. With two small lakes, a gazebo, several foot bridges, walking trails, an old bridge, and plenty of trees it was the perfect spot for this photo shoot.
Everyone including their son little Greg enjoyed the photo shoot despite the high temperatures and humidity. Their son was so well behaved and cooperative. I am always surprised when we can hold a child’s attention. He listened and followed directions making my job easy.
After Keanna informed me this was their first professional photos, the shoot became an engagement and a family session. Everyone was a natural in front of the camera I couldn’t believe it was their first time. I enjoyed being able to offer both kinds of photos for them. They are such a cute couple and family.
Spending an hour snapping away, we captured many great shots of the couple, each parent with little Greg, and the three as a family.
After working with them for the afternoon and having a great time, I look forward to capturing their special day in December.
Many thanks to Keanna and both Gregs for making my job easy for this sweet session in the dead of summer. Their patience paid off with beautiful photographs capturing their happiness.
Congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding!
