Week 45:  Musical

Inspiration: Musical
“Music is part of the soul, so let it inspire you this week.”

This tiny drumset sits atop one of our shelves.  I’m not the drummer in the family, that’s Shane.  Actually, when it comes to musical talent, I’m best listening to it or singing in the shower.  Shane is the musician, playing a variety of instruments.  I’ve always been amazed at people who can pick up an instrument and just start playing.

Week 46:  7 Deadly Sins

Story Telling: 7 Deadly Sins
“The 7 deadly sins are Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed, and Sloth. Tell us a compelling story about one of the 7 deadly sins.”

At first glance you may be wondering how this picture could possibly relate to any of the 7 Deadly Sins.  I’ll tell you.   For me this picture represents both envy and sloth.  Envy because it’s the middle of November and it’s been too cold already plus snow this soon.  I have deep envy for all of my friends with much warmer temperatures.  Plus this unusually cold weather has made a major sloth out of me.  I took this picture through our front door.  Need I say more.  (I’ve been living in my pajamas and haven’t left the house in a few days.  Waiting for some warmer temperatures.)
